WHAT’S NEW ON SAP COMMERCE CLOUD RELEASE 2005

In the industrial revolution, people used to go to crowdie market for shopping, but the trend has changed nowadays. • Release Version 2005 – May 13, 2020

What Is New in The 2005 Version and Its Benefits?
SAP Commerce Cloud 2005 includes key features to enable superior customer experience with Headless Commerce scenarios and supports end-to-end business processes for building an Intelligent Enterprise. Moreover, if we talk about the latest version of SAP Commerce Cloud, it officially released SAP Commerce Cloud 2005. The most significant changes are B2B and B2C Omni Commerce Connect (OCC) APIs, Bundling perspective in the Backoffice product cockpit, SAP Commerce context-driven services integration and SAP Cloud Platform Integration-APIs integration.

The following features of the latest versions are as follows;

• B2B and B2C Omni Commerce Connect (OCC) APIs:
Permit you to decouple your frontend storefront from back-end platform and to produce elastic headless commerce. B2B inventory display, B2B re-order, B2B order replenishment and Commerce organization. B2C OCC APIs cancellations and Returns, WCMS tool for legacy/On-Premise for customer aiming to migrate to the cloud solution.

• Bundling perspective in the Backoffice product cockpit:
Be able to bundle products in the bundling perspective, maintain rules to discount products, produce bundles that accommodate customer choices, define the product selection criteria and bundle collection of products.

• Spartacus for Release 2005:
Support for release 2005, cancellation and Returns, Support for OOC extensions, Spartacus 1.x is compatible with releases 1905 and 2005, Spartacus an open-source project is an Angular based JavaScript storefront which communicates with SAP Commerce Cloud through OCC APIs.

• SAP Commerce context-driven services integration:
The context-driven services allow SaaS integration to SAP Commerce that empowers overall of functionality that improve conversion and deliver personalized customer experience.

• SAP Cloud Platform Integration-APIs integration:
Modern and improved integration from SAP Commerce to other SAP solutions such as S/4HANA Cloud, SAP ERP, S/4HANA Service and SAP Marketing Cloud. Simplified classification attributes, API improvements, security improvements and outbound Sync improvement.

• Promotion Engine and Rule Engine
Release 2005 promotion engine permits you to generate upselling promotions to substitute recurrence customer such as Update to Drools 7.21, Drools Class loader improvement and Key session pooling.
· Context-Driven Services Integration
A/B testing and Merchandising to offer better customer experience with real-time personalization and boost conversion. It also enables capabilities such as; Spartacus integration
• Platform:
Support for Oracle 19c, Spring 5.2.3, Maintaining query Cache Region, Change Detection, Default Users and Password Disable and Delete of Cron Job History Entries.

• Smart Edit:
Release 2005 introduces to Smart Edit new features such as; Reintroduction of the WCMS Cockpit, Media Container Management in simple responsive Banner Components and Support for Single Sign-On.

The Release of version 2005, SAP has removed y2ysyncdemoelectronics extension among others.

High Standard with New Name:

Even though SAP Hybris has changed its name to SAP Commerce Cloud, however, the standards are even higher than before with new capabilities. Benefit from cloud offering, single commerce solution offering industry-specific capabilities with the ability to personalize the customer experience across all channels.
